A day before the bbq, we went out as a cell to JP NTUC extra to buy some stuffs... So Cong Jing assignment was to cut fruit for us... And guess what she is doing?? Knocking onto the watermelon to hear the "freshness" of it?? haha... But yea... she is enjoying...

We had a great fellowship at ntuc also... deciding what to buy...

Our 1st BBQ session for the year!! We had it at Jurong Safra near boon lay interchange. We want to thank God for many things...

1) we were afraid that we might not have sufficient food for our oikos BUT God somehow provide us with not just with enough but abundant food!!
2) It was raining heavily over Jurong area and our bbq pit situated just below the shelter roof... so if the rain continues to pour we might not be able to start fire... So eventually when we arrived around 5.40pm, the rain subsided into drizzling then to no rain!! Even the dark clouds were moved away like that!! So it is the hand of God that does it...
3) For great weather because after the rain, the sky became so beautiful with its sunset
4) For 6 oikos that joined us!! that's includes cong jing... So they are natalie, doris(her sis), Ben, Ying, See khim and Yunfang(Tina's nursing friends)....
5) For the good and enjoyable fellowship with the oikos
6) The oikos commented that they enjoyed the time spending with us....
7 Last but not least, we are surprised that there are still surplus!! haha...

So to conclude, God has provided us more than enough and we have got surplus left... God is truly good and loving!!Praise You Lord!! :D

Pictures of Baby Joyce's and Sarah's..... went to visit lynne's and baby sarah on tuesday...

On the 31st oct, we had Young Adults car Rally!!!

It was a fun night.... and our cell combined with Mabel cell with total usage of 3 cars!! And we had 3 friends joined us on saturday...

Before the event starts, it is already pouring cats and dogs outside... With loud thunders somemore!! But it didnt dampen our spirit of excitement...

With our 3 drivers, they are:
1) Mabel seated with Stephanie, angeline and sihui
2) Yan Peng seated with loo san and rachael
3) Ben ( Daryl's friend) seated with carine, mei Ling, cong jing and myself

And basically, every team had 3 groups of car and we are to strategise which areas to cover so that we have ample time to go around places given and be back to paya lebar by 10.30pm. So for our car with Ben's, we went to marina barrage to fly kite, labrador park, portsdown rd, whitchurch road, west coast park, kent ridge park..... Thanks God that the whole journey was safe and we had a great time fellowship in the car.

Even though our team didnt manage to get any prizes, BUT we were having great fun indeed!! What matter most is the fellowship and FUN!! haha...
